The Chronicles of Nightwolf Series:

The Chronicles of Nighwolf: The Four Families (Book 2)

You know that kid you were always afraid of and whispering about in school, what if that facade of an appearance was just to keep you alive and safe. What if he was one of several who in earnest was protecting you and others from the horrors which lurk in the shadows and behind closed doors. In The Four Families, perhaps you will see what horrors await you in that darkness lurking just behind those doors. Action and suspense combine in a way to make you wonder and think, who is really your enemy and who is really your friend. What price would you pay for safety?

"The sky flashed with lightning striking the altar and illuminating the circle in a horrifying sight. Mick turned, looking back at the two, his eyes widening as he witnessed the surge of electricity around them both, their faces etched with pain and agony, and then all was dark and silent. The sounds of hunting dogs filled the night with the sounds of the storm, and Mick knew that the worst was yet to come. . ."

I have unfortunatly not been able to find or get in touch with whom ever took this photo, however I very much want to use it for the cover art of the Salem novel which is currently in the works.  Here is a slight preview of the book in progress which takes place in time before "The Four Families".

The Chronicles of Nightwolf:
The Salem Trials
By: C.R. Beaumont

Prologue:
Boston, Massachusetts
October 1st, 1688
Samuel Parris sat as his oak desk going over financial figures in the old ledger he had kept since his time governing his sugar plantation in Barbados. The numbers showed slim pickings and his mind turned and twisted in contemplation as to how he was ever to get back on his feet after his lavish life style had nearly led to his financial ruin. Sighing in resignation he opened a drawer in the desk and read over the letter of appointment by his parish and scowled in irritation at his appointment to the village of Salem, Massachusetts. The community was well known for its odd goings-on’s and its unsavory people. With three previous ministers in that past decade he wondered if there was truly any hope of preaching to the people of that dank little town.

The Chronicles of Erise

I'm also working on another series, be it a bit more slowly. It is a steam punk WW II series, which I certainly hope people will enjoy. Currently there is no cover art for any of the books planned for this series. A great deal of research is going into it. Here is a preview :

The Chronicles of Erise :

1940 War of the World – A Lion’s Mistake

Prologue:

‘What was the world coming to?’ That was the question Sudhri kept asking herself as she looked out the pale green stained glass of her Victorian styled manor. It was not that long ago, maybe two or three years, since she had been forced to relocate her home and business from the country of Allemange to Francia. Still she couldn’t make any sense of it, from the militant uprising to the taking of businesses and persecution of those who showed any sort of magical aptitude. The only regret she held was the fact that she had to leave behind some of her prototype blueprints and designs in her old factory, and her newly acquired pet drakes.  She hated losing a prized animal, especially one she had went through so much trouble to acquire, breed, and train. A long sigh escaped her lips as she turned away from the window, she knew from the new reports that her designs were being used to make weapons of mass war now. It was a fact which she couldn’t seem to come to terms with.

NEW BY

C.R. Beaumont

I'm currently working on "The Chronicles of Nightwolf" series, which should by the time it's finished contain four of five books.

"The Four Families" is the first completed and published book in this series; however, it will most likely be revised once the Salem Trials are finished.

The current series in progress are "The Chronicles of Nightwolf" and "The Chronicles of Erise". There is another series on the back burner filled with ideas which be most likely called the "Trials of Xanthis", though the title of that series is also a work in progress.
